The papers for conference should be written in the IEEE-Template-styles format for publication on the ECAI Proceedings (ISSN 1843 – 2115).

The papers accepted must respect the gold rule: some similarities are accepted with other papers (which should be included in the list of references), but similarities must be less than 30% (without the list of references) or less than 50% (with the list of references) and without no compact paragraphs copied.

The organizers reserve the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference.

The ECAI Proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® database and also to be evaluated and included in the ISI Web of Knowledge database.

Extended version of selected papers presented in ECAI sessions will be free published in special issues of the IEEE Journals indexed in SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science, after that papers will be further reviewed as normal.

The title and content of these papers must be compulsory modified by 60% at least (so, the index of similarity must be less than 30%) and also will be subjected to a new peer-review process.
